After a two-year hiatus thanks to the pandemic, Coachella roared back for its first weekend (April 15-17) of 2022 in the Indio, Calif., desert.

Harry Styles brought out surprise guest Shania Twain on Friday for a crowd-pleasing duet on her classic “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” “Now I have to tell you, in the car with my mother as a child, this lady taught me to sing,” Styles said about Twain. “She also taught me that men are trash. But to you, for the memories you gave me with my mother, I’m forever grateful.”

“I’m at a loss for words, I’m a bit starstruck,” Twain told Styles. “When I was writing this song, you were just a kid, so it’s kind of a dream and very surreal to be sitting right here with you.”

On Saturday, Billie Eilish became the youngest Coachella headliner ever. “I should not be headlining this sh-t, but I’m so f–king grateful to be here,” said the 20-year-old. In addition to her impressive catalog of hits, she brought out special guests Khalid, Gorillaz’s Damon Albarn and De La Soul’s Posdnuos. Naturally, brother FINNEAS joined her on stage as well.

Sunday night, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia were the co-headliners, both having headlined Coachella separately in past years. Swedish House Mafia went on first, with the Weeknd handling the second half of the shared set; for the closer, they joined forces for their collaborative track “Moth to a Flame” to wrap up the first weekend of Coachella 2022.
